What every dog owner wants… a great recall.
One of the biggest training tasks we all have when getting a dog is to teach them a great recall. Not only for their own safety but to respect other dogs and walkers who may not be fond of others in their space. None of us want to be the person at the other end of the field shouting “he’s friendly” while our dog is oblivious to our recall attempts.
Recall is often one of the biggest skills we want to teach our dogs, often focusing on it as soon as we bring our puppy or dog home 🏡 . It’s one of those things that you’ll never regret training and once you’ve done the work to build a solid recall, it can last a lifetime.

Our recall package is a popular package amongst dog owners. We all love seeing our dogs off the lead, bouncing about in the fields and having some freedom to explore and be a dog. Whilst also having the security knowing that you have a great recall to use where needed and not having to play a game of catch me if you can when it’s time to go back on the lead.
With our recall package we work through lots of different aspect to training including behaviour management. This is where we look at how to stop our dogs from running off in the first place, as every time our dog practices a behaviour the more likely it will be rewarded and repeated. Therefore it’s important to manage behaviour during the training process.
We also look at a variety of different training games and skills to teach our dogs. Focusing on engagement and relationship, so our dogs want to stick by us and learn that we are the most fun thing on a walk.
Our recall package consists of 3 x 1 hour training sessions jam packed with all the knowledge and hands on skills you’ll need. We work through different exercises to not only teach your dog but to help you learn everything so you’ll be able to put it all into practice yourself.
Don’t fret… after the sessions are over you aren’t just left to your own devices! You will get access to a Google drive folder that will have all the information, exercises and more that we talked about. It means you don’t have to remember everything all at once and you can carry on looking back at the info whenever you need!
